The Secret To Keeping Your Extensions Brand New in the Ocean

Now that we’re (almost) coming up to the warmer months, I wanted to talk about hair care in the ocean! I recently went on an amazing trip to Puerto Rico where I enjoyed swimming on the beach.

However, with extensions, comes a little more maintenance in the water. I talked with Regina to figure out how to keep my hair extensions shiny, hydrated, and soft while swimming in saltwater — the secret to keeping it brand new in the ocean.

3 Steps:

1.      Prior to going into the ocean, coat your extensions in a hair mask. This keeps the hair protected from the drying effects of saltwater.

2.      After getting out of the water, put more hair mask in/leave in conditioner and brush it softly.

Note: Don’t brush hard on wet hair!!

3.      Have fun and enjoy your beautiful mermaid hair. ✨🧜‍♀️
